Problem with mq2cast
I'm using UF client with mq2 classic for Underfoot
Casters are not de memorizing spells, another words if you do //casting "virtue" gem8 it won't de mem gem8 and mem virtue, But if you manually un mem gem8, it will mem virtue no problem. Hope that make sense =b
thanks in advance

To put it another way, using /memorize "Spell Name|Slot#" the caster won't un-memorize the spell it has in the slot#. The caster does sit down, and does open the book, but times out after several seconds and aborts the cast.

I am having no problems with this.
I downloaded the UF Classic build and dropped it in a new folder. started mq2/eqbcserver/wineq/my wizard.
had a nuke in gem 1.
/memorize gate 1
removes nuke and puts gate there.
I subsequently did
/memorize gate|2
and it removed gate form 1 and removed the nuke from 2 and memorized gate in 2.

Using the exact same setup as you, (fresh download of the Classic UF client) and the steam UF, I still get the errors from MQ2Cast.
Done with a spell in gem 1, druid, and tried with several different spells:
/memorize gate 1 = [176102] MQ2Cast:[Memorize]: Aborting!
/memorize gate|1 = [230178] MQ2Cast:[Memorize]: Aborting!
Got the same result with MQ2 running as admin.
