I've finally gotten the chance to address the item page. I've identified the problem query--there are several on that page--and disabled that one query. I've sent instructions to the host on how to implement the code changes. I'm locked out and can't do it myself. As soon as they do that the page should be back up but the part that shows what npcs drop the item will be blank.

New tables need to be generated to fix the performance issues but that is easier said than done.

So far nobody has complained! So thanks everyone for being patient. I was actually out of town at a conference when the problem happened.

Okay... the host didn't fully restore my permissions last week. This may slow me down if they don't fix it quickly.

The item page is restored, and the database has been refreshed.

In a test run the relevant query's time improved from 3.506838 seconds to 0.000303 seconds. I think we are out of the woods on the item page. Let me know if any results seem wonky.
