The old crash was crashing any character so it's kind of different but it's possibly related. The old issue was never really clear, I did a brute force "fix". Maybe that's causing issues... Can you check that your mq2main.dll is the April 2016 one to make sure you have the fix. If it's older try downloading again and swapping out your dll files wth the new ones.
If you do have the mist recent build the only way to trace it is probably to get a crash dump from you. There's instructions here http://mqemulator.net/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=1607
Basically just make sure you're using the newest build, trigger a crash, the email me your debug.dmp from the EQ/logs directory, and your assembly log from the MQ directory. The timestamp on the dump should match the time you crashed.
