I modularized the NPC page for faster loading and cleaner bookmarking/navigation. I also added a javascript based graphing solution. I know it is far from perfect but I really wanted to get some eyes on this before deciding to continue working on it.

Drop Tables:

Spawn Points:

Is this something I should continue developing or should we revert to the old page?

I like the spawn point thing alot. I prefered the old drop tables over the new ones.

The tabular drop table, I can add that back in addition to the pie chart and the new item odd chart, or do you prefer the old pie charts to the new pie charts?

I don't think I was very clear.

We had Old Pie Chart and Drop Table.

I replaced it with New Pie Chart and a the totally new Item Drop Odds Chart.

Are you saying you miss the Drop Table, I can add that back in, or are you saying your prefer the Old Pie Chart to the New Pie Chart?\

EDIT: made a minor change to the New Pie Chart, the "Nothing" section is now a very light shade of gray to hopefully make it more apparent that it represents a non-drop

Thumbs up for the modularization (faster loading, more accurate navigation/bookmarking).

I like the Spawn Points changes. Spawns per day is a very useful calculation.

I prefer the Old Drop Table to any of the pie charts (new or old) or drop odds bar graph.

I like the new Pie Chart better than the old one. The "Nothing" chance is useful.

I don't have anything against the drop odds bar graph, but I like the old drop table and new pie chart better.

Alright, I can add the old table back. I may have to temporarily revert back to the Old pie charts. The highchart software has a bug in it with chrome 18. If you mouse over a pie chart slice chrome locks up :(

hey,

I was curious if you were still going to add this old drop table back? (just in addition to the pie charts, which are very cool)

Yeah, I've been swamped at work. My contract is up for rebidding. We are hopefully hitting the cutoff for the pre-decision talks this Monday. Assuming that happens as planned and nothing else pops up I'll be a littleore productive :)

I also have a update to the graphing software that will hopefully fix the lockup associated with the pie charts + google chrome 18. I do have a mq prototype to put together but perhaps I can do the npc page first.

I uploaded the last two updates to the charting software. It unfortunately did not fix the chrome error.

In regards to spawn points I must admit I much prefered the way they used to be where you would get all spawn points for a mob to be shown.

are you talking about on the map, or a table that changed?

Okay! I narrowed down the problem with the charting software to a single ASCII character that was causing the crash. That enabled a workaround! So it's bandaged till the developer of the packaged fixes it.

Zia,
I went ahead and assumed you meant the map link. The spawn table is much busier now cause it has both map links now. The zone name points to the map button and the coordinates point to a map button. Hovering over each map button will describe them if you forget but it's pretty easy. The zone one shows all mobs by that ID in the zone (and their pathing), the coordinate one shows only the coordinates spawn point.

Here is a link to check it out

r10101,
I didn't forget about you! I promise. I wanted to split the page Zia was talking about into two separate pages which is basically the same thing I need to do for you. I wanted to get the omissions fixed on that page so I could do the two similar tasks at once. I'm still cautious to give an ETA but I'm keeping you in mind.

Night-night

Okay, I was invigorated after I left a medical procedure(they made me eat a tin if Dinty Moore Beef Stew with a dash of radio active particles as dye... perhaps this is some sort of super food...)

Drop Tables: http://mqemulator.net/npc.php?id=73057&view=droptables
Drop Charts: http://mqemulator.net/npc.php?id=73057&view=dropcharts
Spawn Locations: http://mqemulator.net/npc.php?id=73057&view=spawnlocations
Spawn Rates: http://mqemulator.net/npc.php?id=73057&view=spawnrates

The tables and charts for spawn location/rates got split up into two pages, and I fixed the endless decimal points to round off to two digits to stop the tables from breaking.

I added back in the Tables view as requested some time back. It features the "nothing" entry on the table which is a reflection of the table probability being calculated into the item chance to get a single more logical number. The table multiplier however still is not calculated into the chance and is still listed above each table. If you'd like to know the overall chance for drop you can view the third drop page

Item Drop Odds: http://mqemulator.net/npc.php?id=73057&view=itemdropodds

Which shows your overall chance to get ONE of the particular item in ONE kill. (assuming my math is right)

I did also change the names of some of the pages to make them more logical... like the pie charts page was called "Drop Tables", now it's called "Drop Charts" and the tables page shows the tables...
