I created a new dynamic image yesterday that will allow you to easily post an items stats in a forum somewhere, or save the image to be used in an auction. You can navigate to it by looking up any item, then on the items page click the "BB Code" option in the left hand menu. There will be a textbox for you to copy the forum code, and a copy of the image for you to save.
Alternatively you can just type the location of the image into a forum if you remember its location. The images are generated by navigating http://mqemulator.net/quickitem/****.png where **** is the items ID.
