what turns my atk off in pvp?
I run my warrior up to a pc target and hit the attack button. Then it turns off.

I got my butt kicked a few times last year Halloween due to my attack turning off on PC targets. What does this?

Info from PEQ suggests it is a mq2melee thing. I think I need to make a MQ2Melee.ini file

[Settings]
SpawnType=10
MeleeKeys=z
RangeKeys=x

And change the Spawntype=15?

SpawnType: 0 + all desired target type modifier: (+1 PC) (+2 NPC) (+4 PC PET) (+8 NPC PET) (+16 PC CORPSE) (+32 NPC CORPSE) default is 10 (0 for base + 2 for NPC and + 8 for NPC PET).

Unfortunately I know more about women than I do about mq2melee. Have you confirmed its mq2melee by unloading it and trying?

Assuming you aren't using a macro that messes with those settings or runs it's own combat routine, MQ2Melee looks to be the culprit. SpawnType = 15 looks to be correct.

I will confirm both the MQ2melee globals and that it is the plug in tonight... so dont go hunting me =b

Yes, I do run macros and will be making a variation in them at lunch and rename *_pvp.mac
But I don't run macros on my warrior. Just control the group from him

-PVP on both chars (bard and clr)
-atk and atk gets turned off
-/plugin mq2melee unload
-atk and i start atk'ing
-i add a new file called mq2melee.ini with
Macro
More +

[Settings]
Spawntype=15

-/plugin mq2melee load
-atk and i stark atk'ing + MQ2 was helping control also
-change Spawntype back to the normal "10"
-/plugin mq2melee load
-atk and atk gets turned off

So if you make a file called MQ2Melee.ini and stick in it
[Settings]
Spawntype=10

10 is default (NPCs)
15 is PVP (NPCs and PC)

worked for me

just a note.

I have my atk mapped to the "0" (#) key on the numpad of the keyboard. I could not use that to activate atk. I had to use the ingame atk button.
